Most likely! There’s a good chance you either live in an area or work for an employer that qualifies you for a Charlotte Metro membership. If not – no worries! You’re eligible to join via our partner association – the NC Consumers Council. The best part? It’s at no cost or obligation to you. Open your account today!

how do i sign up for online banking?
Enroll or call a customer service representative at 704.375.0183. You may also visit any of our branches.
is there a mobile app?
There sure is! You will need to set up your Online Banking before signing in through our Mobile App. Once you have an account made, download our app through Google Play or the App Store for free.
what mobile payment options are offered?
We encourage you to check out the avenues to send money from your account via our bill pay’s Popmoney feature as well as member-to-member transfers within Online Banking.
We will certainly keep you in the loop once future payment options, like Zelle, become available.
how do i set up bill pay?
We have an intuitive online experience, which makes it easier and faster to pay bills. Learn more about our Bill Pay program here.

can i get a cashiers check from you?
Any of our locations can print you a cashier’s check for $5 per check. Please visit our locations page to find a branch near you.
i forgot my pin
Simply stop by any of our branch locations or give us a call at 704.375.0183, select Option 4, and follow the prompts.
i have a lost or stolen card
If you have a lost or stolen card, DO NOT report lost or stolen cards through email. Please report your card through Online or Mobile Banking, or by contacting us at 704.375.0183.
If you think you may have just misplaced your card and need time to look for it, log in to Online Banking and use the Self Service tab to Block Card.
how long will it take to get a card?
You should receive your mailed card in 7-10 business days. Or - if you’d like it faster - stop by any of our branches to get an instantly issued card (it will cost $7 to replace a lost card).

do you have a notary available?

do you have a coin machine?
Our Central and Matthews branches all have coin machines available for Charlotte Metro customers’ use. For directions, please visit our locations page.
where are your atms?
We have quite a few Charlotte Metro ATMs across the area. For a full list, visit our locations page. Not close to a Charlotte Metro ATM? Avoid paying a surcharge fee by visiting any CashPoints ATM. Your first 6 non-Charlotte Metro ATM withdrawals per month are free (does not include the machine surcharge). For a full list of no-surcharge ATMs throughout North Carolina, check out this locator.
do you provide wire transfers?
Yep! Wire transfers can be initiated at any of our branch locations. There is a $10 fee for incoming transfers and a $20 fee for outgoing wires.

herman hoose scholarship
Each May, Charlotte Metro awards 17 $3,000 Herman Hoose Scholarships. Each scholarship is awarded to a deserving student who is graduating from high school in the current school year and enrolls in an institution of higher education for the fall of that same year.
